Elaine Loebenstein is an Irish pianist who has extensive training and experience as a classical accompanist. She has worked as a freelance collaborative pianist, recitalist, coach, lecturer and workshop leader. She has performed on several continents and has appeared on radio and television in Europe, the US and Australia.

She has a particular interest in classical improvisation, and combines this passion with her sensibilities as an accompanist to respond to cinematic art through interactive, spontaneous music making.

She has also devised and recorded soundtracks for historical and archival footage, experimental film and documentary forms as well as creating film music for museum installations.

She has lived and worked in Dublin, London, Glasgow and Sydney. She calls Vienna home.
